Come and join the fun at Jump Jive and Shout with retro diva and vinyl queen dj Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the very best in pulsating energy driven1940s/50s rhythm & blues, boogie woogie, jump blues, doo wop, blues shouters and more. The roots of rock ‘n’ roll. Join us as we celebrate the dynamic sounds that rocked the juke boxes, gin houses and rent parties all over America. Louis Jordan, Little Richard, The Chords, Ruth Brown, Big Joe Turner and a host of others. All music played on vinyl the way they did it back then.
Plus great live music from the Surrey Sensation Jimmy Hammond, a passionate boogie woogie and r & b singer/piano player whose exhilarating live show features the great rockin' drummer Rich Taylor and captures perfectly the style, the look, the sound and the spirit of the pre rock 'n' roll era. Show starts at 9.30pm.
Always a great night out at Jump Jive and Shout on the 2nd Saturday of the month closed for August.
