Level 3 Award in First Aid at Work (FAW): This includes all the features of EFAW (Emergency First Aid at Work) and also equips learners with the first aid knowledge and skills to tend a range of specific injuries and illnesses. This particular award is most suited to working environments that have a high hazard count and/or high numbers of employees.

How long will the course take?
The First Aid at Work course qualification is typically achieved through a 3-day class-room based training course and for requalification this is reduced to 2-days.
How is the First Aid at Work course qualification assessed?
The qualification is assessed via practical demonstration and oral questioning
Certificates for successful learners will be dispatched for distribution in due course (approx. 2 weeks) by the Centre. Successful learners will also receive a wallet-sized plastic card detailing their qualification. This qualification lasts for a period of 3 years, after which point learners will need to resit the course which can be adjusted to a 1 day course. All candidates will receive a First Aid book and a First Aid learner pack.
