You said your name was Susan. You were my first love and first girl I had kissed. You did not know but I have carried the Love and or the burden of it all of my life.
You supported ban the bomb and you were conducting a survey on which way the water swirled down a plug hole. You made my heart beat faster and I am sure I meant little to you.
We were at the Keswick youth hostel and shared our kissing on a bed in a room where your friend was with my friend Roy.
I know you wanted more but I was too innocent and unpractised in the ways of love. I now live in Cyprus with my second wife but still the memories of you and the Lake District return. I am both pleased and sorry we met. You cannot know how you have influenced my existence. I wonder what we would have become? I wonder if you ever think of me.
I searched for you by letter for several years. I wish I could feel this strength of Love again and or be set free from it to Love again
