On Saturday I had sex with my landlord for the first time as I was struggling to pay the rent for the past two months. I am female student from Latvia and in my mid twenties whist my landlord is in his sixties. I've been studying in the UK since 2023 at a London university. My landlord gave me three chances to pay the rent however as my working hours got cut at my job I was struggling. I asked my boyfriend and family in Latvia for some money and they helped however it wasn't enough. The landlord was fair with giving me opportunities however he suggested as a last resort that if we had sex on a weekly basis then he was willing to forgo the unpaid rent and let me stay in the flat till July which is when my tenancy expires.
